Tempeh Teriyaki Lettuce Wraps


This is one of my go-to quick meals. I wanted to give you something that you can make with what you already have at the house, but doesn't lack in flavor and nutrients. This high protein meal can be made with lots of modifications and swaps as well.




These wraps are packed with great ingredients that will fill you up and keep you full.

  • Tempeh - Tempeh is one of my go tos when I'm looking to add some protein to a dish. You can bake, steam, boil, or saute it, and just like tofu you can marinate it to taste however you want! It naturally has a nutty taste to it. One serving, 1/2 a block, is 18g-20g of protein, depending on the brand!! It is also a great source of fiber, magnesium, and iron.

  • Shiitake Mushrooms - Can help boost your immune system, support heart health and help fight cancer. That is a win in my books! They give any dish an umami flavor, making it savory and meaty. They are also a great source of Cooper and Vitamin D.
